TERMS OF SERVICE
By using House Label, you agree to the following terms. Please read them before creating an account or using the platform.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using House Label, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. We may update these terms as the product evolves — continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
2. What House Label is
House Label is an all-in-one platform for independent musicians. It currently includes four pillars:
- Profile — build your artist profile, link your platform accounts, and let an AI agent generate an editable presskit.
- Funding — discover, match, and track grants and programs; an AI agent helps draft answers tailored to each program and your profile.
- Promotion — plan a custom campaign with a Digital Marketing agent and draft a press pitch with a Press Relations agent.
- Royalties — figure out which collection societies to register with, and track your registrations and catalog.
Features are added, changed, or removed as the product evolves.
3. Eligibility and account
You must be at least 18 years old to use House Label. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for everything done under your account. House Label is currently in invite-only beta — access is granted at our discretion.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you put into House Label — profile information, project descriptions, uploaded files, drafts, presskit content. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content only to operate the service for you.
You are responsible for making sure your content does not infringe anyone’s rights or break applicable laws.
5. AI-generated content
Some features use AI to draft grant answers, bios, presskit copy, and slide layouts from your profile data — currently via Anthropic’s Claude API and OpenAI’s API. Per both providers’ API terms, data sent through their APIs is not used to train their models.
AI output is a draft. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving anything before it is submitted to a grant portal, sent to a journalist, or published. We do not guarantee that AI output is accurate, complete, or appropriate for your use case.
6. Browser agent (Grant Redactor)
The Grant Redactor uses a browser automation agent (TinyFish) to navigate grant portals on your behalf. By using it, you acknowledge that:
- You must already have a valid account on the target grant portal.
- The agent acts only when you trigger it, and you approve actions step by step.
- We are not responsible for what happens on third-party portals once a form is submitted.
- You are responsible for verifying everything before final submission.
7. Linked accounts
When you connect a streaming or social account, we store the access tokens needed to read stats. We use these tokens only to fetch the data shown to you in the platform. You can disconnect a linked account at any time, which revokes our access and deletes the stored tokens.
8. What you agree not to do
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for unlawful purposes.
- Try to access other users’ data.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform beyond normal use.
- Submit false or misleading information in grant applications.
- Resell or commercially redistribute the service without permission.
9. Beta and limitation of liability
House Label is provided “as is” during beta, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free behavior, or that grant information is always current and accurate.
To the extent permitted by law, House Label is not liable for indirect or consequential damages — including missed deadlines, unsuccessful applications, or data loss — arising from your use of the platform.
10. Termination
You can request account deletion at any time by emailing contact@houselabel.ai. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, your data is removed in line with our Privacy Policy.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
