House Label is an all-in-one platform for independent musicians, organized around four pillars: Profile (artist profile + presskit), Funding (grants discovery and AI-assisted applications), Promotion (digital marketing and press relations), and Royalties (collection society registration and tracking). Think of it as a virtual music label.

Independent musicians, composers, producers, and songwriters — especially those in Canada and the US dealing with grants, royalties, and the business side of music. Whether you’re emerging or mid-career, House Label gives you tools that signed artists usually get from a label.

Three things. (1) An artist profile you fill once — genre, location, career stage, disciplines, languages, project description — that every other agent reads from. (2) Linked platform accounts (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and others) so we can pull current stats into your dashboard and presskit. (3) An AI presskit agent that turns all of the above into an editable, industry-standard presskit — short bio, long bio, discography, photos, press quotes, shows, contact — ready to download or share by link.

Two parts. The Grant Finder scans 100+ Canadian and US sources and matches programs to your profile, scoring each by fit (genre, location, career stage, disciplines, citizenship) so the most relevant ones surface first — with deadlines, amounts and direct apply links. The Grant Redactor then drafts answers tailored to each program’s questions, pulling from your profile so you don’t start from a blank page. For supported portals, a browser agent (TinyFish) can fill the form on your behalf — you review and approve every field before anything is submitted.

The Digital Marketing agent jumps on a call with you to scope a custom campaign — budget, channels, target dates — then drops the plan and reminders into your calendar. The Press Relations agent drafts a tailored pitch and a list of where to send your music: blogs, journalists, playlist curators, radio. You stay in control of every send.

Every time your music is played, streamed, or performed, royalties are owed — but only collected if you’re registered with the right societies. The Royalties module figures out which ones apply to you based on your country, province, and roles (writer, performer, label), then walks you through registering with each (SOCAN, Re:Sound, SOPROQ, SoundExchange and others). Your songs and releases sit alongside, with ISRC/UPC fields, so you can see at a glance which works are covered.

Production, creation and composition, touring, residencies, awards and prizes, and festival or showcase opportunities. We pull listings from organizations like CALQ, Canada Council, Musicaction, FACTOR, and more, covering different genres, disciplines, and funding levels.

An automated crawl runs weekly, pulls in new open calls, and flags changes (deadlines, amounts, eligibility) on existing programs. Tracked grants show a notification when newer info is available.

All data is stored in Supabase with row-level security — only you can read your own data. Files live in scoped Supabase Storage. AI features use Anthropic’s Claude API (text drafting and Q&A) and OpenAI (presskit slide layout); both providers’ API terms state that data sent through the API is not used to train their models. House Label is currently in invite-only beta and free for all beta users. Pricing will be announced before any paid plans launch — beta users will hear first.
